Ramakrishna Vissamraju (August 20, 1947 – July 16, 2015) was a playback singer in South India. ==Personal life and career== He was born to Vissamraju Rangasai and Ratnam on August 20, 1947. The veteran singer P. Susheela was his maternal aunt (mother's sister). He did his B.Sc. while quite young. Impressed by Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, he took up singing as a profession. He used to sing light music for All India Radio. His debut movie song is "Vayase Oka Poolathota" in ''Vichitra Bandham'' (1972). Ramakrishna many credits to his name, with an oeuvre consisting of over 5000 songs, from both movies and devotional albums. He also has a credit of many great music directors during the 1970s and 1980s. His songs were consistently successful during this period. Most of the top actors in the Telugu film industry wanted him to lend his voice to their movies; amongst them were NTR, ANR, Sobhan Babu, and Krishnam Raju. During the past 5–6 years, he took up acting and had been appearing in serials and films as well. He continued to give concerts across Andhra Pradesh. In 1977, he married Jyothi Khanna, who then was a very famous singer in Doordarshan and gave concerts across Andhra pradesh.
